Christmas at Castle Howard 2021 is an interior projection mapping onto the dome
The story follows the theme of Narnia, with an extra spruce of Christmas thrown in. Working with The Projection Studio, as the lead animator on the project, we utilised many 2d & 3d elements all created in Cinema4D, Otoy Octane and After Effects.
The obscure octagon shape of the dome provided some interesting opportunities for elements such as the Aroras which was one of the stand-out effects.
In 2022 I returned to produce a piece with the theme of Cinderella. Is included clock faces, a dancing ballroom and a disco party.
